Prof. John Sandham is a distinguished leader and the Chairman of My Bridge International UK. A British Chartered Engineer and accomplished business entrepreneur, John’s career journey began in the Royal Air Force, where he served as a ground equipment technician and later advanced to the role of clinical engineer. With over 35 years of international experience, he has held senior executive positions across the healthcare technology field.

John is recognized as a Fellow of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (FIHEEM) and the Institute of Work Based Learning (FIWBL), in addition to being a Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET). He holds a Doctorate in Professional Studies (DProf) specializing in Compliance in Medical Devices Management Policy and was honored with an honorary professorship from the University of Warwick. He also serves as a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at Middlesex University.

Highly respected for his pioneering work in healthcare technology management, John has published over 300 articles and is a sought-after speaker and chair at national and international conferences. As the long-standing chairman of the National Electronic and Biomedical Engineering (EBME) conference and medical equipment exhibition, he remains at the forefront of industry innovation.

Beyond his professional achievements, John is deeply committed to philanthropy. Through his leadership roles at My Bridge International and the Amalthea Trust, he continues to champion initiatives that enhance global healthcare.
