Prof. Daniel Shu (MD)
Prof. Daniel Shu is a distinguished physician, leadership educator, strategic consultant, and international marriage counsellor with over 40 years of impactful work across the medical, academic, faith-based, and development sectors. A trained diagnostic radiologist with a Doctorate in Christian Leadership, Prof. Shu is also the founder and President of the LEAD Higher Institute in Yaoundé, Cameroon, where he has mentored future leaders and designed university-accredited programs in family life and marriage counselling.
He has served as Regional Director for French-speaking Africa with the Haggai Institute, implementing leadership training across 19 countries, and has lectured at top institutions in Central and West Africa. His prolific authorship includes over 25 published books in both English and French on leadership, marriage, and spiritual growth, many of which are used in academic curricula and training centres across the continent.
Prof. Shu’s extensive consulting work includes strategic leadership development for governments, international NGOs, universities, and religious institutions. He has trained thousands of professionals in good governance, organisational management, and human development, and has been a keynote speaker at major conferences from Kinshasa to Ouagadougou.
As Regional Director for West Africa at My Bridge International, Prof. Shu provides visionary leadership grounded in local knowledge, cross-cultural insight, and a deep commitment to transformation. His role involves fostering strategic partnerships, guiding regional engagement, and ensuring that My Bridge’s mission—to empower communities through education, innovation, and ethical leadership—is effectively implemented and contextually relevant across West Africa.
